Golden beach Marafa
Departure from the hotel about 09:30 am, in the direction of Mambrui , just after Malindi. Along the way you will cross the town of Malindi, the bridge over the River Sabaki (with a bit of luck you can see crocodiles and hippos), until you get to the entrance of an unpaved road, which, through African villages surrounded by lush vegetation, lagoons and expanses of green palms, between the river and the salt pans of Ngomeni, will take you 'directly to the "Bearfoot," a small restaurant, nicely decorated in an African style, directly on the large and majestic Golden Beach. The beach is a breathtaking and wild show completely covered by the "PYRITE", a mineral like gold, which will give you a sense of infinite freedom '. The sea is not protected by a coral reef.
The BAREFOOT has sun beds and beach umbrellas, allowing you to relax in the sun waiting for the lunch that will be served in a very special atmosphere giving importance to the taste and style. Lunch is based on fish, lobster or crab depending on the daily catch. After lunch we set off for the Marafa Canyon , better known as " The Devil's Kitchen ". A path that will take you in about an hour in an absolutely uncontaminated landscape where you still can feel the real Africa. The African villages , schools , colors and lots of children will offer you unforgettable images . Once you get to the Canyon, you will meet your local guide who will take you during the walk inside the canyon. He will be at your disposal to tell you anecdotes of this particular place. As the sun goes down, you will be on the terrace waiting for the sunset, and according to the inclination of the sun rays , it will be possible to admire the spectacle of the Canyon and the land of Africa in front of you. After the sunset you go back to your hotel where the return is scheduled about 07.30 pm.
